I had tonsil stones for a very long time ever since about the age of 12. I am now 28 and had my tonsils removed just this last summer, it was the best thing i could of ever done. I have never has a single tonsil stone since and do not have to deal with the emabarassing crap breath. I know how frustrating it can be dealing with tonsil stones so i did my research and finally decided to get the bit T's taken out. The surgery was a snap but im not going to lie the 2 weeks after were hell. But if I anybody asked me was it worth it my response would be in a heartbeat!! Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

A great way to PREVENT tonsil stones from forming in the first place is to take a 10mL syrings (which you can get from a local pharmacy) and gently irrigate the tonsil crypts every morning with warm salt water. Such a regimen can prevent them from forming and prevents the need for surgery to remove the tonsils. No reason to spend money on remedies either. This simple cheap homemade solution has worked for me, give it a try!

I had never heard about tonsil stones before last night but I have horrid halitosis that I have tried everythign to get rid of. I think this must be my problem. So, short of getting my tonsils removed how do I get rid of stones I must currently have? The salt water will keep any new ones from forming but how can I get rid of the ones I already have?

I used two interdental brushes pushed end to end and a powerfull torch to remove my very large stone, several up to 1/2 inch long.

What is the remedy that everyone is talking about. I know that you want me to buy the book. I would really like to know what the cure is now.
