No Stones for a Month and a Half!

Since coming to live at my uncle's house on Vancouver Island for the summer, I have noticed a huge change in the much-dreaded Tonsil Stones. Usually I would produce several of them per week, and I get the big ones (Some of them as big as a fat, juicy pea... ewww!). Before coming over here (actually, up until the time I ran out of money here) I was eating a lot of pasta and bread, bananas, yogurt, milk, etc. Really nothing out of the ordinary. Once I ran out of money, I started really going crazy on the blackberries that inhabit the Island.... seriously, they're weeds here. I usually make a few smoothies per day (with milk or yogurt) and since I have started this routine, my tonsil stones started diminishing until I stopped getting them. Instead of tonsil stones, a couple of tiiny blackberry seeds will occasionally come out of my tonsils (which is not at all unpleasant, and not smelly or uncomfortable). I don't know if it's exclusively the blackberries that have suppressed my stones, or if slowing down on the starch carbs has played a big part (probably), but I can't believe how much better my breath has been as of late :) I should also mention that I started occasionally (twice a week) doing a hydrogen peroxide gargle. For this, I take 3% Hydrogen Peroxide, mix it half/half with water and swish in my mouth/gargle for about one minute. Makes the breath really fresh!

I have suffered from these nasty critters [tonsil stones] for years. I just accepted that I would always have them. However, since using the tonsil stone remedy I learned about on tonsilstones.net, I have not experienced even one tonsil stone.
