Yes they are here too. I know when one is lurking as I get a deep itching sensation inside my ear. 30 years of coping with the problem has taught me two things; firstly they get worse if you have too much alcohol and secondly if you don't massage your tonsils to remove the milky liquid that accumulates in them every day, it will solidify into these foul little lumps. So every morning I place an index finger over the flap of skin in front of the tonsil and work upwards, pressing and moving the yuk stuff out. This loosens the gunge and I can then shift it with the muscle at the base of the tongue. Make sure your finger nails are completely short and that your tongue is scrapped clean right at the back. Does anyone have any proof that they can form in the adenoids too? tootle pip old chaps.

another sufferer from england here! had them since i was a teenager, recently i got loads more than usual ans slightly inflamed tonsils. with the warm weather i have been drinking a bit more than usual so maybe related to that. has anybody tried gurgling with tea tree oil solution?
